During a chat on the Untriggered by AminJaz, Apoorva said she is tired of the constant cycle of being cancelled and making a comeback following the India’s Got Latent controversy. While she now tries to filter herself in her vlogs, she remains confused about why she keeps facing backlash. She also admitted that cancellations affect her brand deals and income, which is what bothers her most. Addressing claims that she was “running” abroad, Apoorva clarified that she has already moved to New York after falling in love with the city’s fast-paced lifestyle, fashion, food and architecture. She added that she applied to just one college there and got in.
The content creator shared this clip on her Instagram stories and wrote that she doesn’t live in India anymore, and revealed that moving to New York was a dream for her. She admitted to being scared of leaving her friends and career in India and returning to student life, where she would be pursuing an MBA. Apoorva said that she wanted to meet new people and build a social circle beyond fellow creators and felt that it would only be possible through college. She concluded by stating that the “kaleshi aurat” was dead and that she created that content because she knew it would sell.
