Speaking on Netflix India’s YouTube channel with Tanmay Bhat, Vijay shared, “Lust Stories was a cupid, but it wasn’t during the shoot that we started dating.” He recalled a failed wrap party where only four people attended, which led to the realization that he wanted to spend more time with Tamannaah. It took 20-25 days for the first date to happen after that, he revealed. Contrary to popular belief, their relationship blossomed organically, as Tamannaah herself described in an interview with Film Companion. She expressed how Vijay’s openness and genuine approach made it easy for her to reciprocate his feelings. He’s a person who she cares about deeply, and he’s her happy place, she shared.
