It dropped the exciting news about Varun Dhawan joining the Citadel universe, and the announcement is huge definitely. In the poster announcement, we get the first look at the handsome and fierce Varun Dhawan. It also informs the audience that the shoot for the series will start in January 2023. Varun Dhawan will be playing the role of a spy and this new avatar will be really interesting to watch. The web series will be directed by Raj and DK, and they also shared the poster on their official social media handle to express the excitement and honour of directing the film.
The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress, Alia Bhatt who is currently on maternity leave, congratulated her good friend Varun Dhawan after this news. She reshared the poster on her Instagram handle and wrote that it is “Huge.” She also tagged the director and actor.
