During a recent chat with Radio Nasha, Urvashi Rautela broke her silence on the criticism of her viral song called ‘Dabidi Dibidi’ with Nandamuri Balakrishna. She was surprised to see how the situation had escalated. Despite facing major backlash for her film with him, Daaku Maharaaj, she said that her experience with the veteran actor was positive and amazing. Rautela went on to call herself “lucky” to have worked with him. Addressing his sudden bursts of anger, the actor said that she too had witnessed such moments and that they used to be “fun.”
The Daaku Maharaj actor said that Balakrishna’s fans don’t take offence with his anger and that they are happy to watch this. She went on to confess that Nandamuri Balakrishna was the first person who wished her on Valentine’s Day last year. Urvashi’s take on his behaviour was totally different and went on to describe him as “approachable.” She concluded the chat by saying that he was very down to earth, and isn’t always angry.
For the unversed, Urvashi and Nandamuri were heavily criticised for their ‘provocative’ steps in the Daaku Maharaaj song called ‘Dabidi Dibidi.’ This song also got a lot of backlash given the massive age gap between the two. The veteran actor is also often called out for his angry behaviour and striking comments.
