Talking about the same, television actor Sehban Azim was also one of those who joined the protest during the same. Sehban Azim Reveals THIS
While speaking to Mid-Day, the Tujhse Hai Raabta star Sehban Azim talked about allegedly getting hit by the police during the CJP protest. He stated that it was an extremely heartbreaking sight to witness. He recalled going to the protest to support the students, along with two female friends from Mumbai. The actor claimed that he got hit while he was saving them from the lathi, adding that his hand has become swollen. Sehban alleged that they hit him a few times on his “arm, legs and all.” Further, the actor said that they didn’t even reach inside Jantar Mantar, where the protest was actually happening, alleging that the police had put barricades all around and “trapped” them in the middle and started hitting them. He claimed that they were not “bothered by who they were hitting, be it young kids, women, or nobody. Sehban expressed feeling like the whole lathi-charge was deliberate and that they just wanted all of them to go from there.
