New ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ Trailer Is All About Ajay Devgn As Gangster Rahim Lala. He’s Impressive
I feel like since the Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer dropped, no one has been able to get over it. And how can we? Have you seen how badass Alia Bhatt looks along with the beautiful SLB visuals, how can we not obsess over it? However, having seen the trailer a few times now, I cannot help but wonder what Ajay Devgn’s role in the movie is supposed to be. His entire persona had been kept under wraps, leaving us to speculate about it. Now, all discussions have been put to rest as a new trailer of Gangubai Kathiawadi has come about focusing on and featuring Ajay Devgn!
The trailer shows Ajay Devgn as a gangster named Rahim Lala. He is seen to be a supporter of Gangubai’s cause and they are business partners. I for one cannot get over Ajay Devgn’s new avatar and how amazing he looks. Like… Just look at him!

In true Sanjay Leela Bhansali fashion, Lala’s character has been done justice by his overall portrayal, costume and body language.
As a supporter of Gangubai, I genuinely expect so much from Rahim Lala’s character and with an actor like Ajay Devgn playing the role, I have no doubt that Gangubai and Lala’s chemistry will be a sight to behold.
Gangubai Kathiawadi features Alia Bhatt playing a madam in a brothel of Kamathipura, which is a red-light district in Mumbai. The story revolves around her struggles and her journey. Rahim Lala, played by Ajay Devgn will be seen helping her in her fight for equality.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is all set to release in theatres on February 25, 2022.
