‘The Night Manager’ Trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor Thriller Might Just Do Justice To The British Original
This is going to be an interesting watch.
In recent times, Bollywood is producing a lot of spy thrillers. Well good for us. Adding to our excitement, we have another one starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. It is the Hindi remake of the British television series The Night Manager. The trailer of this much-awaited series was dropped on January 20, Friday and honestly, it looks quite promising. The Night Manager is based on a novel by the same name. The Hindi remake of this spy thriller web series has been directed by Sandeep Modi and will release on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar.

The Night Manager stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in lead roles and it is also the duo’s OTT debut. Aditya Roy Kapoor plays the role of a spy disguised as a five-star hotel’s night manager, the character which was played by Tom Hiddlestone in the original series. Richard Ropar was seen in the role of the arms dealer and Anil Kapoor plays this character in the Hindi remake of the series. The two-minute trailer looks quite intriguing. It takes us through the journey of a night manager who is on his hunt to catch the arms dealer. The trailer gives a glimpse into this very dangerous mission of the Indian spy. From the trailer we know, that Aditya Roy Kapoor’s character wins the confidence of his target (Anil Kapoor’s character) and manages to become a part of his circle. But will it be easy to take revenge? That trailer has captured my interest in this series too.

Apart from the two leads, the Indian adaptation of the series will also have a range of other actors like Tillotama Shome, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saswata Chatterjee and Ravi Behl.

The Night Manager’s Hindi remake is bound to draw a comparison with the original version. However, the trailer gives us an impression of a promising spy thriller series on the way. Looks like it will do justice to the original series, as it does look interesting from the story, action, suspense and acting point of view. The background score is engaging and instantly catches your attention. It is all set to release on February 17, 2023.
