Similarly, the Kerala Story actress Adah Sharma also spoke about her grandmother’s reaction to her performance in the film. The actress particularly shed light on her grandmother’s reaction to the disturbing rape scene in the film, and her perspectives on the same. Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, The Kerala Story is currently running successfully in the theatres.

In the movie The Kerala Story, Adah Sharma portrayed the main character. She was seen in the role of a woman brainwashed into accepting Islam and working with ISIS. In the film, the actress did a bone-chilling rape scene. She was quite nervous about her mother and grandmother’s reaction to the particular scene. The actress talked about it in a recent interview. As per the news, her grandmother found the rape scene “Informative”. Adah Sharma’s grandmother also believed that the film should be approved for young girls to watch and learn how to be brave during such situations.

Adah Sharma also met some of her fans who appreciated her for her performance in The Kerala Story. She is currently enjoying the success of her film which has almost entered the 200cr club within two weeks of its release. However, the film also garnered some negative publicity for the statistical claims that it made in the trailer. Producer Vipul Shah recently reacted to the controversy and expressed his belief in the story.
