Fresh reports claim that a hearing about their divorce on June 15 turned their conversations into negotiations. Though nothing is confirmed, it is speculated that both of them are attempting to find a common ground with multiple discussions taking place between Vijay and Sangeetha to overcome their differences. As per Asianet, the rumours about their reconciliation started right after he visited the Mookambika Devi in Kollur. Reportedly, his mother might be helping them to communicate better and keep the future of their children as a priority.

It is also being suggested that Vijay and Sangeetha might even get married again. It is important to note that these are just rumours and that nothing has been confirmed by any parties. The outlet also revealed that both of them have been requested to be present in the June hearing, but it has now been shifted to August 7, 2026. For the unversed, Sangeetha had filed for a divorce previously, citing that her husband was unfaithful with another actor, without naming anyone. This instantly led to people speculating that it was Trisha Krishnan, but nothing has been confirmed as of now. She stated that she learned about the affair in 2021, and when she confronted Thalapathy Vijay, he promised he would end it, but continued it without her knowledge.
