Taylor Launter Opens Up About Playing Jacob Black In Twilight And Body Image Issues

Girls, remember the time when The Twilight Saga was released, and we were all fawning and drooling over Taylor Lautner AKA Jacob Black’s hot bod? He was shirtless throughout most of the films because he had to turn into a werewolf so many times. Well, as much as you and I loved seeing him without a shirt on the screen, it gave Taylor body image issues. In a recent interview has talked about how his shirtless scenes in the fantasy film franchise affected him. In the same interview, has also made a rare comment about his former partner Taylor Swift when Kanye West jumped on the stage to interrupt her during her speech.

During The Squeeze‘s podcast episode, Taylor Lautner opened up about his body image struggle. He said that he was a part of the franchise when he was 16 years old to 20. He said that when he was taking off every other second in the film franchise, he was not aware that he was going to suffer from body image issues in the future. The Home Team actor also revealed that has was forced to go to the gym six days a week to maintain his physique.

In the podcast, the 30-year-old actor also spoke about how he regrets not supporting ex Taylor Swift during the 2009 VMAs. He and Swift were dating for some time in 2009, and he was also the one who presented the award to her. Taylor Lautner revealed that he was under the impression that Kanye West interrupting her was a planned skit.

He said that he was standing behind after presenting the award to Taylor Swift and thought Kanye’s interruption was a panned skit because he had no other reason to jump on the stage like that. He added that when he was Swift’s expression was when he realised that Kanye’s stunt was impromptu.

Just as she was saying her acceptance speech, Kanye West interrupted her on stage and said that even though Taylor’s video was great, Beyonce has one of the ‘best videos of all time’!
Kanye West’s stunt was not appreciated at all by anybody because he blatantly disrespected Taylor Swift on the stage in front of everyone.
