Taapsee Pannu Packs The Loudest Screams, Rap Music, And Blurry Visuals For ‘Blurr’ Teaser

Actress Taapsee Pannu’s selection of spine-chilling scripts and stories has always been a treat for her fans. With a filmography filled with exciting names, Pannu makes sure to surprise us once again with her latest film. The actress dropped the teaser of her upcoming release–Blurr. The close-to-a-minute-long teaser presents the world through a blurry vision, with an intense voiceover by the actress.

Throughout the clip, we see the tension of suspense building on the screen, as Pannu screams for help. Mixed with her shivering voice is a fast-paced rap, the sound of a ringing phone, and an earsplitting backdrop. The short clip welcomes us to the world of Gayatri, played by Taapsee Pannu who can be heard questioning throughout. The shaky frames further walk us through a dingy bungalow, with dim lights, followed by a loud scream. The teaser impressively fuels our curiosity about the storyline. Captioning the post, Taapsee wrote, “Khatre ki aahat chaaron taraf hai but will Gayatri see it coming? Get ready to witness her world through her eyes.”

A few days back, Taapsee introduced us to the first look of the film, with an eerie poster. The poster featured Taapsee’s face blurring away into a new image, that describes her journey of losing her vision. Directed by Ajay Bahl, the film also stars–Gulshan Devaiah, and is produced by–Zee Studios, Outsiders Films, and Echelon Productions. The film explores the tale of the protagonist–Gayatri, who loses her vision while looking for the reason behind her twin sister’s demise.

What we love about the teaser is its ability to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats, and mix the soundtrack with the absurdity of a rap song, that surprises us in between. Well, with films like–Dobaaraa, Haseen Dillruba, Looop Lapeta, and many other blockbusters in her kitty, Taapsee seems to have mastered the psychological thriller genre. This teaser sure has us excited for the film. Blurr is also the actress’ first venture as a producer.
