The First Look Of Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Blurr’ Is Eerie And Tantalising

I am a lover of thrillers and enjoy ones with good female protagonists. However, I believe that most of such films represent women as damsels in distress with no real control over the movies. However, Taapsee Pannu goes against this trope with amazing female-centric thriller films like Dobaaraa, Haseen Dillruba, Looop Lapeta and Game Over under her belt. And now she has treated us to the first look of Blurr, an upcoming thriller featuring her.

Actress Taapsee Pannu gave her fans the first glimpse at her forthcoming psychological thriller Blurr on Wednesday. Taapsee also revealed the film’s release date on Instagram. In the film’s first look, a scared-looking Taapsee turns to face the camera as another Taapsee emerges in front of her. As their faces fade, the previous Taapsee is seen losing her eyesight. Taapsee captioned the photo after sharing the motion poster, “There’s always more than what meets the eye! She used the hashtag #BlurrOnZEE5 and said that the movie premieres December 9.

Blurr revolves around a female protagonist, her challenges and her will to overcome her tragedy. Gayatri, played by Taapsee, is the main character of this movie as she steadily loses her vision as she attempts to look into the death of her twin sister. The Gulshan Devaiah and Ajay Bahl-starring movie will exclusively have its Hindi television premiere on ZEE5. The movie’s production included contributions from Zee Studios, Outsiders Films, and Echelon Productions. Blurr was written by Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony.

In a statement, Taapsee said that thrillers form an essential part of her career, and Blurr was one such story that had her on the edge with its narrative and the situations the protagonist was forced into throughout the film. Additionally, she said that when Vishal contacted her about the film, she agreed immediately. Taapsee added that she shot about half the movie wearing blindfolds. She said that she brought home a lot of memories and injuries, which has made her appreciate having clear eyesight even more. Taapsee finally said that she was eager to collaborate with Ajay Bahl after Section 375.
