Swara Bhaskar Says She Doesn’t Agree With Akshay Kumar’s Choice Of Films But Doesn’t Want His Films To Fail. Kaafi Mature Perspective!

The boycott trend has spread like wildfire with people just jumping on the bandwagon blindly as soon as a new film is released. Most of the time, the reason why people also want to boycott these films also does not make sense. A lot of Bollywood films recently have been added to the boycott list by the audience. But Swara Bhaskar has offered a different take on the whole boycott trend saying that she does not agree with Akshay Kumar but that does not she wants his films to fail or does not wish him bad luck.

In an interview with The Hindu, the Nil Batte Sannata actress said that it is people who have a problem with India’s secularism are the ones who are having a problem with the Hindi film industry. Swara said that they, in the film industry, are honest storytellers and therefore, must keep telling stories in this way. She also went on to say that Bollywood should not be made a platform for propaganda.

The 34-year-old actress also has said that there could never be one voice coming out of Bollywood as it is not a single ‘tangible and homogenous entity’. Swara Bhaskar also shared her perspective on how she deals with someone with whom she doesn’t agree. She said that she does not agree with Akshay Kumar because of the kind of films he endorses but that does not mean she wants his films to tank at the box office or that she does not want him to release his projects.

Honestly, this is quite a refreshing take amid all the raging boycott toxicity. It is also quite important that people realise that not agreeing with someone is okay but unnecessarily boycotting their projects is taking it a bit too far. This even serves no purpose because that person is not going to suddenly change their ideology for the masses.
