A recent social media post about comedian Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent 2 has ignited a debate around Suhani Shah’s magic act. A Redditor alleged that this entire segment was scripted and that a man even received Rs 20,000 to hide what allegedly happened on the show. This debate further moved to X (Previously Twitter) where many users described this the episode where Samay got “scammed.”

For the unversed, this controversy is related to India’s Got Latent 2’s recent episode featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Aditya Kulshreshta, Rajat Sood, and Suhani Shah. In the viral Reddit post, a user named Vaishali alleged that during Suhani Shah’s segment, she was returning while being on a call, and saw a man behind the curtains with ‘Anubhav’ name written on his shirt. Vaishali said that she initially did not understand this because she had come in late, but after watching the episode, she felt that the entire act was scripted. The Redditor further alleged that after she told her friends about the same, one of them messaged Samay Raina’s team and received Rs 20,000 to not disclose this.

Suhani Shah is an Indian magician, mentalist, and YouTuber who has a massive following on social media. She started as an illusionist and then moved to mentalism. Over the past two decades, she has done over 5,000 shows and has also built a large following based on her mind-reading and psychological illusion acts. Shah was also awarded Best Magic Creator at the International Federation of Magic Societies World Championship in Italy.
