She added that they do not know how such stories emerge and that there is not even an “iota of truth” in reports claiming that her daughter and cricketer Tilak Varma have been dating for the past year. She shared that it was nothing but purely a figment of the imagination. The actress’s mother shared that the two incidents were coincidental. She expressed the unfair nature of social media as it created stories from unrelated events.

The dating rumours involving Sreeleela and Tilak Varma started last year after the actress reportedly visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple with her mother, Dr. Swarnalatha.
