In the viral clip, she alleged physical assault by a man at a club in Mumbai. She showed that her face was swollen and had bruises to fans online. Preet Singh took to her Instagram and questioned women’s safety in Mumbai. She wrote, “DISCLAIMER. I have always heard that Mumbai is one of the safest cities for girls, but I never imagined it would welcome me like this. Even as I write this, I’m shivering—my eyes are swollen, my face is bruised, and I’m still trying to process what happened.” The contestant claimed that a male friend of an influencer hit her, but she refrained from naming the influencer in the post.

Preet stated that she was enjoying time with his friend at a club when a girl started shouting and questioning how they were allowed inside. And what started as a simple argument turned into trauma when one of her male friends assaulted her and her friend. Preet claimed that she was hurt so hard that she broke her tooth and had her face swollen. The situation calmed down when other people intervened, and she was shocked to go through this.
Soon after this post was shared, it quickly went viral with Splitsvilla contestant Zalak Gohil writing, “That night was a nightmare for us. I know what Preet went through, and it takes real courage to speak about it. I truly hope no one ever has to experience something like this again.” Ruru Thakur also came in her support, urging her to be strong and take care of herself. Not just this, Bollywood actor Fatima Sana Shaikh wrote, “Please go file a complaint. Hope you get well soon.”
Many have asked her to name the perpetrator and take legal action.
