Sooraj Pancholi On False Accusations

While talking to Hesha Chimah, lead anchor Varinder Chawla, Sooraj Pancholi opened up about his long legal battle. He stated that going through the court process took a lot of time, but he stood up for himself and chose to fight cleanly. The actor wanted a trial because it meant everyone had to answer questions and accusations directly. He said none of the things he was accused of were true. Even the letter that led to his arrest was called fake in court. This made him question why he was arrested in the first place. The actor feels it’s important to talk about it now because people are finally listening. He had tried to speak before, but when the attention wasn’t on him, no one really cared. It seemed like people wanted him to be the bad guy.

He further shared how even in court, some journalists weren’t interested in the truth. When he asked why they didn’t write about what really happened, they admitted they wouldn’t get the negative stories or gossip they wanted. They were looking for something bad to say about him. This made him realise he had to keep fighting, even if it took another ten years. Despite the media’s preference for negative stories or gossip surrounding him, Sooraj Pancholi was determined to see it through and clear his name. He had to trust the legal system, as he felt the trial was his only way to make sure the truth finally came out.
