Following the tragic suicide of Jiah Khan, Sooraj Pancholi faced intense public scrutiny. He became the focus of investigations and media attention related to the case. This led to difficult times for the actor. Sooraj Pancholi hasn’t quite talked about those challenging years—until now. In a recent interview, Sooraj Pancholi opened up and shared his side of the story.

Sooraj Pancholi On Father’s Enemies And Media Trial

During a conversation with Hesha Chimah, lead anchor Varinder Chawla, Sooraj Pancholi talked about his tough times and how the media showed him in a bad way. Sooraj Pancholi wondered if it was because people didn’t like his father or because maybe everyone makes enemies and his father did too, adding that he questioned who was behind it. He felt the only way to prove he was innocent was through the court case, even though it was long and hard, especially with the media watching closely.

The actor further opened up about how the trial took years and years. He had to go to court almost every week and sometimes even 6 or 7 times a week. He would get there early and wait until it closed. There were often delays; sometimes the judge wasn’t there, or the lawyers or CBI didn’t show up, or important papers weren’t submitted. This made the process take even longer. Emotionally, it was hard for him. For over ten years, from his early twenties to his thirties, his life was filled with these court visits. He also spoke about the media trial and called it “bullying”.
