Sonam Kapoor’s Baby Vayu Has A Jungle-Themed Nursery At Their Mumbai Home. See Pics Here
Actress Sonam Kapoor welcomed her son–Vayu, with husband/entrepreneur–Anand Ahuja, back in August. And ever since, the actress has been keeping her Instagram family, updated about details from the newest phase in her life. Well, recently, the actress also revealed the meaning behind the Kapoor-Ahuja baby’s name, through an elaborate post on her Instagram handle, alongside a picture of the family of three, dressed in yellow. Taking to her Instagram again, Sonam gave a peek inside the newborn’s nursery, which is nothing short of a dream.

In the new set of pictures, Sonam shared a clip from every corner of the room, that follows a fun jungle theme. The well-decorated nursery features a canopy-headlined cradle, and a monochrome, jungle-themed wallpaper. Besides that, the interiors came filled with wooden furniture, wardrobes, toys, and a massive rocking chair. Matching the aesthetic of the room was a firefly-themed roof and entirely carpeted flooring. What we loved about the colour palette was Sonam’s idea of going ahead with neutrals, instead of forcing a traditional blue, on her baby boy.

Alongside the pictures, Sonam also thanked interior designers, and wallpaper specialists who helped her put together the nursery in the shortest period of time. A special mention was given to her personal shopper, who helped curate Sonam’s maternity wardrobe. Sonam also extended her gratitude towards her mom–Sunita Kapoor, who “moved heaven and earth for everything.” Reacting to the post, Shahid’s wife–Mira Kapoor commented–”This is so lovely.” Sonam’s Aisha co-stars, Lisa Haydon and Ira Dubey also sent good wishes to baby Vayu and appreciated the decor.
