On Thursday, May 21, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal took to their Instagram and shared their take on the viral ‘melody’ trend. In a collab reel, Sonakshi asked Zaheer what he wanted to ask, to which he replied, stating that he loved her very much. She replies, “No, then,” and he says, “Melody khao, khud jaan jao.” This video went viral instantly and maximised the popularity of this trend. Sharing this, they wrote, “In a parallel universe.” Many started writing about how one can never be bored at the couple’s house since they are so fun, while another person appreciated the actress’s expressions and how her husband always annoys her, they’re so cute!

For the unversed, the ‘Melody’ trend started after PM Narendra Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni shared a wholesome moment over India gifting Italy a packet of Melody chocolates, which is also their famous ship names. In the now-viral video, Meloni wrote that PM Modi gave them a “very good toffee.” Since then, social media has been flooded with memes about this moment.
Sonakshi and Zaheer had been dating for more than 7 years, and finally tied the knot in June 2024. They had an intimate signing ceremony attended by close friends and family members. She wore her mother, Poonam Sinha’s, saree for the special occasion.
