He has entered the 19th day of his protest and has only one request: that the Government sit down to listen to his demands in favour of the country’s education system. What Did Sonakshi Sinha Say?

The Bollywood star has released a video to support the great cause that Sonam Wangchuk is fighting for, at the risk of his life. Sonakshi Sinha raised some important questions around the current political scenarios. In the video, the actor said that she could not hold back anymore, and therefore, she was finally making a statement. She acknowledged Sonam Wangchuk’s indefinite hunger strike for the future of the kids and the fight to save their education in the country. The actor added, “Woh ek system ke against lad rahe hai jo sahi se nahi chal raha, aur ye sab jaante hai.” (He is fighting against a system that is not working properly, and we all know that). The actor also said that many people are still silent amid this, but she could not do that. She also congratulated the Cockroach Janta Party for raising their voice against injustice, but the actor questioned why nobody was listening to them.

Sonakshi Sinha wondered why we are silent when we are in favour of the country’s better future. The actor added, “You are very important to us. Can’t thank you enough for what you are doing. I will not ask Wangchuk Sir to end his strike, but when will this be enough? When he dies, will you speak up then? Whose responsibility is that? The actor also shared a picture of Sonam Wangchuk and penned a note. She wrote, “Political differences shape a nation’s politics. Humanity shapes its character.”

The actor took to her social media handle to raise her voice in support of Sonam Wangchuk. The note expressed her tone of urgency. She wrote, “We cannot keep waiting until it’s too late to start listening.” She hailed Sonam Wangchuk’s achievements and his current fight for the students.

Samay Raina

India’s Got Latent star Samay Raina also shared an Instagram story to speak up on the matter. He expressed concern for Sonam Wangchuk’s health and wrote, “Hoping and praying that he’s okay, and this ends soon with a dialogue.”
