In the interview, Smriti Irani shared the experiences and lessons she learnt by working on television. Recalling one of the tough times she faced while shooting for Ramayana and Kyuki Saas Bhi, she said that she was pregnant and was not aware of this. But she said she was feeling quite sick. This happened on Balaji’s sets and she also told the makers that she wants to go home but was not allowed to until the shoot was done.

Smriti said after the pack up she was heading home, and realised that she was bleeding. She stopped an autorickshaw and asked him to take her to the nearest hospital. She said that when she entered the hospital, a nurse who recognised her as Tulsi wanted her autograph, which Smriti Irani obliged for, and then got admitted. She went on to add that when she informed Ravi Chopra of the situation, he was so understanding and asked her to not come to work that day. But she had to reach the sets of Kyunki Saas or else she would be fired from the show.

After arriving on the set, she realised that her co-actor had spread rumours that Smriti Irani was lying about her miscarriage. And to prove that she is not, she produced her hospital papers to Ekta Kapoor. She said that the foetus could not survive or else she would have gotten it as proof as well.
