‘Pasoori’ Singer Shae Gill Gets Unnecessarily Trolled For Her Condoling Sidhu Moose Wala’s Death. Glad She Gave It Back!
The assassination of singer Sidhu Moose Wala shocked the entire country. On Monday, he was shot and killed during the day. The incident happened on May 29 in the native village where the singer resided. Many celebrities came forward to express their condolences following the singer’s untimely death. Pakistani singer Shae Gill also expressed her sorrow over Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, but some on the internet were not pleased with her message. The singer received severe trolling, nonetheless, she had a befitting reply for all the faceless trolls on the internet.

Shae Gill rose to prominence with the Coke Studio song ‘Pasoori’ and has amassed a fairly large fan base. She featured in the song along with Ali Sethi. The singer took to her Instagram account to express her emotions on the death of Sidhu Moose Wala and wrote a heartfelt note. She wrote “ Heartbroken” and also prayed for his family and friends to get the strength of bearing such a huge loss. Her condolence was also not well-received by some of the trolls, who managed to bring in the angle of religion to this. They said that Shae Gill was offering ‘Dua’ to a non-Muslim and that is not right.

The singer shared screenshots of these trolls on her Instagram story but added a befitting reply to it. She wrote to inform everyone that she is not Muslim and is in fact a Christian, and as a Christian, can offer prayers for people of any religion. Shae’s post hinted that she had been getting trolled a lot. In fact, she also mentioned that she is tired of people “policing” her and would block anyone who would do the same.
It seems like these trolls have nothing better to do than just be on the internet and spew hate.
