On Wednesday, April 15, Sidharth Malhotra took to his Instagram and shared a selfie wearing a bow and wrote, “Tell me you’re a girl dad without telling me you’re a girl dad 🎀”. This quickly went viral and garnered reactions from many stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Arjun Kapoor. For the unversed, Kiara Advani and Sidharth welcomed their first baby, a girl named Saraayah, on July 15, 2025. They shared this good news in a joint Instagram post and shared an adorable picture showing their hands holding their baby’s feet covered in crocheted socks.

Since then, the couple has preserved quiet during their daughter’s early months, revealing only a few peeks and asking fans and media to respect their space. The duo grew together after featuring in Shershah together. After keeping their relationship hidden for some time, they married on February 7, 2023, in a traditional wedding at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, in front of intimate friends and family from the industry. Their wedding images quickly went viral, becoming one of India’s most popular postings.

When asked about the meaning of Saraayah, Malhotra stated that it meant princess of God and was an exotic name from the East. He also joked that once his superstar arrived, he was no longer the hero of the household.
