After her exit from Lock Upp S2, Shresta Iyer revealed how girls would become her friends just because her brother was Shreyas Iyer.
Shresta Iyer recently dominated headlines after she entered the show hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Lock Upp. However, sadly, during the show’s first eviction, she had to say goodbye to her journey. Now, during a recent interview, she revealed her equation with her brother Shreyas Iyer. While talking about him, Shresta also revealed that girls would befriend her just because of her cricketer brother.
What Did Shresta Iyer Say?
During her conversation with Filmygyan, Shresta Iyer was asked if she knew people who became her friends just to get close to her cricketer brother, Shreyas Iyer. The former Lock Upp S2 contestant stated that many girls had tried it, but she understood their intention, adding that at that point she used to distance herself from them. Further, she stated that she was possessive of him and that she wanted the right girl for Shreyas. Shresta highlighted that obviously he would choose the girl, but he would ask her opinion. The reality show star stated that at that time she would give her take because only a girl can understand a girl. She gave the example that men say that they can understand other men’s intentions; similarly, a girl can understand another girl’s intention.

In Lock Upp season 2’s new promo, we could see host Farah Khan announcing that the visiting hours had started as the contestants remained in their jail cells. In the clip, Gaurav Khanna made his surprising entry. He reportedly starts by reciting a poem before making his way to Akanksha Chamola! After greeting his wife, he says, “Band baja diya tune.” After that, we could see Akanksha visibly getting emotional. It’s worth noting that this comes after Akanksha revealed that she and Gaurav had decided to separate and were heading for a divorce! She has also revealed that they were living separately for the last year and had kept everything under wraps.
