Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor recently shared a fun and goofy video of her dancing to an iconic Michael Jackson track. This clip instantly went viral, with many loving the happy spirit of the actor and her relatable avatar. She often shares her goody and funny videos on Instagram that often win hearts. But with love also comes the unfortunate hate, and the same happened here when many on the internet told her to “act her age.” Read to know more about it here.

Shraddha Kapoor Shares A Dancing Video

The video was reportedly recorded by her alleged boyfriend, Rahul Mody, and even his voice could be heard in the background. He was heard saying, “Do na,” and encouraging Kapoor to dance her heart out. Both of them were left laughing towards the end of the video. Many praised her “bindaas” moves and fun spirit while dancing to the Michael Jackson song. Amid this, many on X (Previously Twitter) started re-sharing this video and age-shaming Shraddha.

One user wrote, “Shraddha Kapoor is 40, and she is still doing all sorts of cringe stuff on social media for attention and relevancy.” They slammed her for simply dancing and having fun at the “old age” of 40, and calling her moves “cringe,” and a cry for “relevancy.” A fan came to Kapoor’s defence and called them out for judging a woman who’s just having some fun. They asked the trolls to just give the actor vibe. Many MJ fans said that Shraddha was just joining them in celebrating his legacy, and that people on the internet today are just too easy to pass judgment on the ones who are having fun.

We agree with this. Liking or not liking a celebrity’s video is purely a personal choice, and one is free to do so. But age-shaming them in 2026 is not something which should be acceptable. She is an adult earning her own money, and if, once in a while, one wants to have fun, our society is quick to tell them to “Act their age.” The internet should calm its guards.
