Newly-weds Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar surprised the internet today morning with a string of happy, smiling images from their wedding and we gotta say, ‘they’re all lovely.’ Dressed in a red fish-cut gown, Shibani Dandekar is all smiles with Farhan Akhtar in a black pantsuit. Dropping the images on his Instagram handle, Farhan wrote, “A few days ago, Shibani Dandekar & I celebrated our union and we are deeply grateful to all those who did respect our need for privacy on the day. The celebration, however, is incomplete without sharing some precious moments with you and seeking your blessings as we begin our journey across the skies of time, together. With love from us to you.”

The images featured some special moments from the couple’s big day, including Shibani’s bridal entry, the beautiful floral decoration at the venue, them saying ‘I do’ and finally sealing it all with a kiss. Sharing happy memories from her special day with her fans, Shibani too dropped the images that featured her stunning bridal outfit which was from the label Jade, designed by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani and Monica Shah. The stunning strapless fish-cut gown, featured red lace stitched over a beige lining, followed by a long train, and paired with a long bridal veil in the shade red. Precious and fun, a few images from Shibani’s post revealed the goofy side of the duo and it’s too cute to handle. Captioning the post she wrote, “Mr & Mrs.”

The fairytale wedding took place on February 19, 2022, with celebrities including Farah Khan, Hritik Roshan, Rhea Chakraborty and more on the guest list. The duo also distributed sweets to the media post their civil marriage on February 21, followed by an after-party at filmmaker/producer Zoya Akhtar’s residence in Mumbai.
