‘She’ Season 2 Teaser: Aaditi Pohankar’s Bhumi Is Once Again Caught Between Duty And Desires. Will Desire Win This Time?
I’m someone who loves a good crime drama with a strong female presence. I mean what’s not to like about a female lead who fights crime or heads a cartel! The power that they exude is just what I live for. It’s like we women live vicariously through these leads and try to gain the power that we don’t usually have in real life. One such crime drama is She. Created and written by Imtiaz Ali and Divya Johry, She premiered on the OTT platform Netflix on March 20, 2020. Directed by Arif Ali and Avinash Das, this crime drama web series stars Aaditi Pohankar, Vijay Varma and Kishore in key roles. Just in case you forgot what this show was about, the series follows the story of a female constable, Bhumika aka Bhumi (played by Aaditi Pohankar) who goes undercover as a prostitute to bust a drug cartel and find out all about the drug lord while fighting off her drunk husband as she figures out ways to divorce him. But what happens when she discovers her dormant sexuality’s potential on the road to empowerment? Well, we just might find the answer to all the questions that the previous season raised in the upcoming season 2 of She.
The teaser of She Season 2 was unveiled a few hours ago. Aaditi Pohankar is back as constable Bhumi as she returns to Mumbai’s dark underbelly for her final mission as the lines between duty and desires and right and wrong get more and more blurry. Considering the end of the previous season and the latest trailer, it looks like Bhumi might be all set to embrace her sexuality and desires and allow them to take over. But the police might have figured out that Bhumi has changed which could mean that she’s in for more trouble. Check out this gritty teaser that has captured our interest along with some eyeballs.
