‘She’ Season 2 Trailer: Aaditi Pohankar’s Bhumi Returns, And So Does Her Moral Quandary
What’s not to love about a crime drama with a strong female lead as she fights off criminals or heads a gang? Their powerful and badass aura is what I live for! Headlined by our favourite OTT regular, Aaditi Pohankar, She season 2 is all set to premiere on Netflix on June 17. Directed by Arif Ali, written and created by Imtiaz Ali, She season 2 is produced by Viacom 18 Studios’ Tipping Point and Window Seat Films. It also stars Kishore Kumar G, Vishwas Kini, Shivani Rangole, Sam Mohan and Suhita Thatte among others in key roles. At the end of Season 1 of the show, constable Bhumi aka Bhumika Pardeshi, who went undercover as a sex worker to spy on a drug cartel head and find out the dark secrets from the alleys of Mumbai’s dark underbelly, discovered herself and her sexuality in the process. And season 2 will continue her story as she gets bolder during her final mission.
In She season 2, Bhumi goes undercover once again and puts her sexuality, confidence and newfound qualities to the test as she struggles with her moral quandary. Aaditi Pohankar reprises her role as Bhumi in the series as she continues to struggle between her police duty and her attraction for the drug kingpin, Nayak as he tries to make Mumbai, India’s drug capital. But she seems to be changing but what about her loyalties?

In season 2 of She, Bhumi gets braver and bolder in her new dynamic avatar as she learns to embrace a double life while juggling her duty, desire, relationships, responsibilities and secrets as her sexual awakening continues. As Nayak begins to doubt Bhumi, Fernandez too has his suspicions, how will Bhumi deal with this situation? Well, we’ll just have watch this 7 episodic high-octane drama to find out. Here’s to hoping season 2 of She does not end with a cliffhanger!
