The film industry lost a gem on Sunday, April 12, with the demise of singer Asha Bhosle. She was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, and due to several health complications, she is no longer with us. Many celebrities were seen at her residence and at the funeral to pay their last respects. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan Missing From Funeral
While many celebrities attended singer Asha Bhosle’s funeral at the Shivaji Park Crematorium in Mumbai, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were not seen at the funeral. As per a Deccan Chronicle report, SRK and Salman Khan did not attend the funeral due to “security reasons”; however, this has not been officially confirmed by the actors or their team. Furthermore, the reports also suggest that there were concerns regarding the crowd management and safety at the funeral venue, and therefore, the actors were not seen.
Nevertheless, SRK and Salman Khan did pay tribute to Asha Bhosle on social media. SRK had shared a picture with the late singer. He penned an emotional note on her demise and called her “one of the pillars” of the Indian cinema. He recalled his bond with the veteran singer and thanked her for giving us such memorable songs.

Salman Khan also posted a tribute on X (former Twitter) and expressed grief over the singer’s demise. The actor wrote, “An irreplaceable voice. Your songs will continue to inspire generations.”
