Shaakuntalam is a mythological drama, in which Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays the role of Shakuntala, who was believed to be the daughter of Mandakini. Dev Mohan is seen in the role of the mighty king Dushyant. Shaakuntalam is a movie based on Dushyant and Shakuntala’s love story. It has been released as a 3D film and is a musical drama heavy on VFX. Many Twitter users expressed their disappointment with the VFX o and have called it one of the weakest points in the film. The execution and performances also failed to impress the audience. Many people were also disappointed with Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s role in the film. The audience feels that her performance lacked any kind of impact and she was not used in the film as per her potential.

One Twitter thread on Shaakuntalam’s review caught our attention instantly. It discusses all the negative points about the film but in a very unusual way.
