‘Koffee With Karan’ S7 Ep 2: Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan Share Their Lockdown Friendship Story. It’s So Heartwarming!
I am sure even you would agree that the Lockdown which happened because of the Covid-19 Pandemic was very crucial for everyone. It was during this phase that many of us connected more closely with our family and friends, and got enough time to bond with them. I am guessing that many of us actually made new friends also during the lockdown which have become really strong over the years. A similar kind of bond developed between the two millennials of Bollywood during the lockdown, and they are none other than the new BFFs of BTown Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. Their much-awaited episode of Koffee With Karan season 7 was dropped on July 14, on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar. In this new episode, Sara and Janhvi have spilled a lot on the couch, but most importantly they talked about how during the lockdown their friendship grew much stronger.

In the new episode of Koffee With Karan season 7, host Karan Johar was very curious to know about how Sara and Janhvi became such good friends. I am sure even you would have this question since suddenly the girls share a lot of travel pictures together on their Instagram. To quench this thirst of ours, Janhvi and Sara shared about the time when it all started and it was the lockdown period. Sara Ali Khan firstly stated that both of them were neighbours in Goa during the lockdown. Janhvi Kapoor then added that they had a mutual friend through whom they met each other, and one day randomly connected over a call. Further, Janhvi said that the call went on till like 8 in the morning, and both the girls seemed quite excited while recalling this. They further revealed that this long kind of conversation happened for two days straight and the Sara added that this turned out to be the reason for their friendship. Girls only need good girlfriends to talk to, hence proved!

Janhvi Kapoor, talking about the same, added that both of them related to each other on many levels, and many times Sara’s outlook and perceptions about things were very similar to what Janhvi felt. Sara further made a very honest statement that it is Janhvi who might know better about the anxiety phase that she went through during the lockdown, also said that maybe even her school friends might not know. Adding further, Sara Ali Khan said that Janhvi connected to her when she talked about how she is losing over the years to make a career.
