But neither of the parties involved addressed the said speculations. Apart from this, the stand-up comedian once again grabbed the headlines after the Supreme Court reportedly imposed a penalty of Rs 3 lakh on him in relation to the proceedings stemming from the India’s Got Latent row on Tuesday. Samay was asked to deposit the amount within two weeks by a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi, and Justice JV Mohana after observing that he had allegedly made false statements before the court and failed to comply with its earlier directions.
