A picture of her wearing a leather jacket and a pair of denim pants along with cool shades was shared to announce her as the lead of this series! The series is going to be an action-packed one, that much we know. But how hardcore the action scenes were was shared by Samantha on her social media. She had shared a picture of the injury she suffered on the sets of Citadel.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of her hands to show the injury she suffered while shooting on the sets of Citadel. She had bruises on her wrist, thumbs and even fingers which were even bleeding a little. Feeling proud of her marks, the 35-year-old captioned the post by writing that these are the ‘perks’ of doing action.
She also reshared her fitness instructor’s story, who had captioned this post by writing that the world calls these marks scars but they call them jewellery! Check out the post below.
Citadel is a sci-fi action thriller that originally stars Priyanka Chopra, Richard Madden, Stanley Tucci and others. It is a Prime Video series produced by the Russo Brothers. The Indian adaptation of the series was announced with Samantha in the lead, and Varun Dhawan playing a pivotal role as well! Its teaser was dropped on February 28, 2023.
