The firing outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s house sent chills across the country. Mumbai police immediately came in action and caught the two accused. Later, they also arrested two alleged arms suppliers, and one of them was Anuj Thapan. Thapan committed suicide in jail but his family is not ready to accept this and claims that the police killed him.

What Is Anuj Thapan’s Family Claiming?
Anuj Thapan was one of the alleged arms suppliers caught by the Mumbai Police in the Salman Khan house firing case that happened on April 12. However, news of Thapan’s alleged suicide inside the jail made headlines 2 days back. Now his family has reacted to it and has demanded justice for him. Speaking to ANI, Anuj Thapan’s brother said that Anuj was arrested by the Mumbai Police some 6-7 days back from Sangrur. He further added that the family got a call from the police saying that his brother had committed suicide and not many details were given to them Anuj Thapan’s brother claims that he could not have committed suicide and that he was killed by the police. The family demands justice for Anuj.

Speaking to ANI, the Sarpanch of the alleged accused also called the case suspicious and revealed that the panchayat was not informed about Anuj’s arrest by the police. He further demanded his post-mortem to happen outside Mumbai because Salman Khan may have influenced the case.
As per reports, Anuj Thapan was immediately rushed to the hospital after his alleged suicide but he died while undergoing the treatment.
