Watching characters on screen that are not victims of their fate, instead find that little hope to live a happy life leaves you with a smile after that movie ends. And Salaam Venky looks like a film of this kind. More than that, it also celebrates the strong bond of a mother-son relationship that is bound to leave you in tears too. The trailer of Salaam Venky, starring Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, directed by Revathy was dropped on November 14, Monday. It looks like a beautiful journey of challenges that both mother and son face together with courage.
Apart from Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, Salaam Venky also features Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Ahana Kumra in leading roles. Kajol will be seen playing the role of a mother to a son who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, most likely because the trailer points that out. Vishal Jethwa plays the role of the son, and despite going through physical pain, his character has been shown as a jolly, hopeful one who dreams to fulfill his life goals before anything happens to him.

From the trailer of Salaam Venky, we also know that there is a big wish put forth by the son, which the mother is not ready to accept leaving her in a moral dilemma. Rajeev Khandelwal plays the role of a doctor who is treating Venky, the son. Well, the surprise element comes at the end of the trailer where we get to see Aamir Khan’s glimpse for some seconds.

While watching the trailer of Salaam Venky, I felt a range of emotions. Just the two minutes trailer made me feel, sad, happy, inspired, and hopeful, all at the same time. Kajol as the dedicated mother looks very promising in her role, and Vishal Jethwa’s acting is already making me look forward to the movie. The movie is most likely to give you an emotional ride yet has the lively characters to make this ride worthwhile. The movie will release on November December 9, 2022.
