Sakshi Malik got engaged to fellow wrestler Satyawart Kadian in 2016, and later the couple tied the knot on April 2, 2017. Since then, fans have been fond of this couple. From being passionate wrestlers to protesting together, they have supported each other through thick and thin! Recently, in a conversation with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Sakshi Malik opened up about how her husband Satyawart Kadian has been her biggest supporter!

Sakshi Malik’s Biggest Supporter Is Her Husband Satyawart Kadian

On being asked about her biggest supporter in life, Sakshi Malik said, “In the beginning, parents supported me, but now the biggest supporter is my husband, no doubt. Like, in everything from protests to when my wrestling career was going down to lift me up, sleeping with me for 40 days on the road during protests, so he is my biggest supporter.” Further, the host asked Sakshi about where she met her husband.

To which she responded, “We studied in the same school. He knew me well since I had achieved my achievements a little early, so I was getting awards on the stage, and he knew that there was a wrestler in his school. Then, gradually, we started playing international tournaments together; he sent me a request on Facebook. So, we started talking in 2013, and for the first time we met face-to-face in the US.” Moreover, Sakshi also revealed that they talk about wrestling techniques, tips, and tricks at home, and her father-in-law is also an Olympian wrestler. Such an inspiring couple!
