Saanvie Tallwar recently turned many heads after accusing Karan Kundrra of harassment and assault. The two actors had previously worked on Yeh Kahaan Aa Gaye Hum. Now, looking back at the same, she revealed learning to speak when she genuinely felt like it. Along with that, the actress also stated that she now feels comfortable talking about the said alleged matter publicly, as the decision was entirely hers. Read on to know more!

Saanvie Tallwar Looks Back At Allegation Against Karan Kundrra

During Saanvie Tallwar’s conversation with IANS, she recalled learning that she should speak when she truly felt ready to do so. The actress stated that earlier, she chose to speak only to those whom she felt it was “important”  to talk to. She expressed that as stories pass from one person to another, they often get “distorted”. Saanvie further stated that now she felt comfortable discussing that subject in public, as the decision was entirely hers. She added that people’s judgement should not prevent someone from talking about an experience they believe is necessary to talk about. As per Saanvie, if she believes something is right, she should speak about it. In the same conversation, she shared her advice to women that if something wrong has happened to them and they were unable to speak about it earlier, it is never too late. She urged them to come forward when they feel ready, adding that if they will never speak about their experiences, people will never know the truth.

Details About Saanvie Tallwar’s Claims Against Karan Kundrra

While having a chat with Filmibeat, Saanvie Tallwar recalled that during a scene, Karan Kundrra allegedly kissed her even before the director’s cue. In response, she slapped him. The actress recalled that Karan didn’t react there and further claimed that he later returned after some time and slapped her hard. She recalled falling on the floor and further alleged that he later abused her and her family. Saanvie stated that no one supported her, adding that later Ektaa Kapoor allegedly apologised on the actor’s behalf and supported her and that she managed to make things easy.  

It’s worth noting that as of now, Karan Kundrra has not addressed Saanvie Tallwar’s allegations.
