Rubina Dilaik Shares Health Update After Accident: “Was In Shock, Legal Action Taken”

Earlier on Saturday, TV actor and Bigg Boss star Abhinav Shukla took to Twitter to share the shocking news that his wife, Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik was in a road accident. The actor had tagged Mumbai Police as well as Mumbai Traffic Police and requested them to take strict action. In the latest update, the actress has taken to social media to share a health update for all the fans who were worrying about her.

Quoting husband Abhinav Shukla’s tweet, Rubina Dilaik revealed that due to the impact caused by the road accident, she injured her head and lower back, however, medical tests have been done and she is find. She also shared that she was in a state of shock due to the injuries caused by the accident. Speaking further, Rubina said that she has initiated legal action against the reckless truck driver who caused the accident but having said that, the damage is done. Urging people to be mindful on the roads, the actress highlighted that rules are for our own safety.

For the unversed, Abhinav Shukla had earlier revealed that his wife Rubina Dilaik got into a car accident and shared pictures of both, their car as well as the truck that hit the car to showcase the damage done to the vehicles. The actor revealed that the accident happened because of the truck driver who was on his phone and was jumping traffic lights. He had also asked people to “beware of idiots” like the truck driver and said that he stood there smiling after the incident.

It’s shocking that despite all the rules and regulations in place, people not only use their phones while driving but also jump lights. It’s essential to understand that breaking rules like this is not just dangerous for the ones breaking them but also for those around them on the road. As per the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, the fine for using a phone while driving is upto Rs 5000 and can increase in case of repeat offence. And as per the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles rules, it is a punishable offence. The fine for traffic signal violation is Rs 500 for the first time and Rs 1500 for a repeat offence.
