Karan Johar is dropping the first looks of the actors from his upcoming romantic film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani on May 25, and it is quite exciting! The casting of the film has excited everyone because we are going to see Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as lovers. After dropping the lead pair’s first looks, Karan shared the first looks of the older cast members, and we already know this casting is going to bring madness to our screens. Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Saswata Chatterjee are featured in the new posters!
Looks like Ranveer Singh is playing a Punjabi munda hailing from a Punjabi family of the Randhawas. The Randhawas look their part as they are wearing bright colours and look quite fun as well. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt hails from a Bengali family of Chatterjees who look cool and calm.
Jaya Bachchan looks like a stern mother whereas Dharmendra looks like he is going to tickle our funny bones in the film! Shabana Azmi looks beautiful as ever in a saree whereas Tota Roy Chowdhury and Saswata Chatterjee have goofy expressions on their faces! In the caption of the post, it was written that these are the two families in this ‘kahaani’.
