Esha Gupta And Sunny Leone Styled The Same Julfermilano Dress At Cannes. But Who Did It Better?

At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Indian celebrities are making some impeccable fashion choices. From red carpets to interviews, in casuals and couture, every star has something unique to offer. But we found this one common thread between celebrities Esha Gupta and Kennedy star–Sunny Leone, that serves some important lessons in styling. At the 76th Cannes Film Festival, the two actresses dished out two unique looks in two different versions of the popular Julfermilano dress.

Available in two colour options, the swirl dress from the label features a sheer see-through fabric, displaying an overlay of swirl print and a unique turtle neckline, with noodle straps and full sleeves. Styling the same dress differently, the actresses took two distinct approaches and tutored us some lessons in fashion.

On Esha Gupta, we first spotted this dress, styled using the technique of colour blocking. The actress chose to wear the slim-fit blue number with studded ombre heels and a Barbie-pink baguette. Here, Gupta welcomed some colour play between the candy hues to accentuate the dress. She further styled it all with hair tied into a bun and black sunglasses.

Contrary to Gupta’s technique, Sunny took the monotone route. Ditching colours, Leone wore the same dress in shades of beige, and brown and trusted the naked-style trend. The actress further completed the look with an oversized beige blazer, and matching nude-coloured heels. Unlike Esha, Sunny left her tresses open and chose to add a hint of colour from the same shade family and picked a red lip shade.

The two distinct styling techniques will serve both maximalists and minimalist dressers. Both the actresses styled the Julfermilano design during their latest trip to the Cannes Film Festival.
