Rihanna Welcomes Johnny Depp To Her Savage X Fenty Showcase, And The Internet Is Furious For The Right Reasons
Actor Johnny Depp has been returning to news headlines this entire year. Previously it was his controversial defamation trial with ex-partner Amber Heard. And now, it’s his rumoured appearance in Rihanna’s new Savage X Fenty show. In the latest buzz around the “Diamonds” singer’s collection showcase, Johnny Depp is said to have filmed a cameo in the much-awaited presentation. And with this, the sea of reactions hit Depp, like a terrible tsunami. For Rihanna’s fourth outing with the Savage X Fenty collaboration, Depp is said to make an appearance, alongside performances by Simu Liu, Anitta, and Cara Delevingne, amongst others.

Reacting to Depp’s cameo, the internet seemingly lost its cool. While some urged the Amazon team to remove the actor’s clip from the showcase, some others pushed #DitchDepp, and expressed their disappointment over Rihanna. Some others also said, “why are you supporting an abuser, while being a victim of abuse yourself.” Not just this, but if at all Depp makes it to the final cut, he will also become the first man to feature as a “star” in the popular Savage X Fenty show.

Previously, Amazon announced the release of Savage X Fenty volume four, with a special teaser. The showcase titled–Seductive Fashion Fever Dream, will explore unconventional silhouettes, inclusive sizing options, and heavy detailing. Performances by Lilly Singh, Marsai Martin, Rickey Thompson, Ángela Aguilar, and more will light up the runway.
Volume four is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video on November 9, 2022.
