Composed by MM Keeravaani, this song features Jr NTR and Ram Charan shaking a leg. High on energy, this song first took India by storm when it was released and now, it has taken on the globe and we couldn’t be more elated! While this win has garnered attention from celebs across the country, it seems to have also caught the eye of a certain international pop star who happens to be all of ours idol. On January 11, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan and the rest of the RRR crew attended the 80th Golden Globe Awards 2023 at the International Ballroom of Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles County, California. RRR’s song ‘Naatu Naatu’ was nominated for the Best Original Song category. The song composed by MM Keeeravaani won the award, beating songs like ‘Carolina’ by Taylor Swift, ‘Lift Me Up’ from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, ‘Hold My Hand’ from Top Gun: Maverick by Lady Gag and several others. Following the win, Rihanna was spotted congratulating the RRR team as she walks past them. Sharing the video in her Instagram stories, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni thanked the international singer and beauty mogul.

Following the win, the music composer of the RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ MM Keeravaani accepted the award. In his acceptance speech, he shared that he is overwhelmed after hearing about the win while adding that he is glad to have the opportunity to share this win with his wife MM Srivalli. Further, he dedicated the award to director SS Rajamouli and his vision for the film and the song while thanking Ram Charan and Jr NTR for dancing with “full stamina”.
