Ridhi Dogra is known for her work in television shows like Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? and OTT shows like The Married Woman and Asur among others. After making her film debut with Lakadbaggha, the actress was seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara starrer mass entertainer Jawan. Ever since then, the actress has been making headlines and it’s for all the right reasons. In a recent interview, Ridhi Dogra revealed a heartwarming gesture by Deepika Padukone that won her heart and now it’s winning our hearts.

Speaking to Zoom, Ridhi Dogra revealed that one day when she was on the set of Jawan, Deepika Padukone and her team were also there. Recalling that the actress was sitting behind the monitor, Ridhi said that she sat behind Deepika Padukone so as to not invade her privacy and have her own privacy. However, from her peripheral vision, Ridhi noticed that Deepika pulled her chair back to align it with hers. Expressing gratitude, the Lakadbaggha actress said that while it was a small gesture, it spoke volumes about the actress. Further Ridhi added that she was deeply touched by Deepika’s gesture which showed solidarity and gratitude with her and showcased that they’re all actors together.

Ridhi Dogra plays the role of Kaveri Amma, the jailer and adoptive mother/mother figure to Shah Rukh Khan’s Azad Rathore. In a previous interview, the actress confessed that she wasn’t sure about playing SRK’s mother and was nervous about the role but she took it up as it was challenging for her. She also revealed (in an Instagram post) that no phones were allowed on the set of the film. In a chat with Hauterrfly, the actress spoke about her love for Shah Rukh Khan and how he smells “divine”.
