1. Priyanka took a year off acting and working to be able to give time to her family. This gave her the chance to play a new role, the role of a mother. It also brought her closer to her family and her daughter.

2. She looked back to the time when she announced the arrival of her beautiful daughter on social media. She surprised everyone and this is when the chaos occurred. Priyanka Chopra opened up about how people started saying awful stuff like she ‘outsourced’ the best experience a woman could have i.e. pregnancy. She went on to add that it’s painful to hear people talking about Malti Marie like that.

3. Priyanka revealed the awful struggle that she and Nick had to go through when Malti was born. Malti was born extremely early and was premature. She had to spend time in the intensive care unit, struggling to survive. They spent three months fighting for their little girl, unaware if she would make it or not. This was a very hard experience for them.

4. Priyanka revealed that surrogacy was a very essential step for her and Nick as a couple. Calling surrogacy a “blessing” the actress revealed that the couple had to opt for it as she had some medical complications. They enlisted a surrogate who was amazing and she kept their precious bundle of joy safe for 6 months.
