These days, there are way too many reality shows popping up on television and OTT platforms. Weird gossip-laden and frivolous reality shows like Bigg Boss, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Too Hot To Handle, Love Island, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Circle, Moving In With Malaika and more are talking over the entertainment scene and we’re running out of reality shows that we can appreciate, tolerate and enjoy watching. But thankfully, some of these reality shows like Shark Tank India managed to keep us engaged.

Cupcake Wars is a fun baking show that had a lot of us addicted for real. The show had talented bakers going against each other to showcase their fabulous baking skills to make cupcakes at an awesome event and win a lot of money. It sounds really fun, doesn’t it?
2. Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi – Voot
This reality show brings in a bunch of celebrities who perform a bunch of gross but dangerous stunts to compete against each other, for the ultimate prize and title. This show is high on the thrill factor.
3. Nailed It – Netflix
A bunch of casual bakers get together to compete against each other by trying to bake exceptional and professional-level desserts. The result of this competition, judged by Nicole Byer and Jacques Torres, ends up being a chaotic mess though.
4. Masterchef India – Sony LIV
People have been obsessed with Masterchef for ages. This is why we were all so excited when the Indian version came out. The latest season of Masterchef India i.e. season 7 is currently on and it is being hosted by Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna, and Garima Arora.
5. RuPaul’s Drag Race – Netflix
From sassy dialogues and interesting fashion to fabulous drag looks and impressive creativity, these drag artists bring it all to RuPaul’s Drag Race. This fabulous show hosted by RuPaul Charles is beyond addictive and the latest season i.e. 15 is available on Netflix, right now.
6. India’s Got Talent – Sony LIV
We all know about this popular reality show. This show invites people from around the country to showcase their varied talents in front of judges and the national audience. This show welcomes people with any kind of talent like dancers, singers, magicians, instrumentalists, etc. The 9th season of the reality show with Kirron Kher, Manoj Muntashir, Shilpa Shetty and Badshah ended in April 2022.
7. So You Think You Can Dance – Fox
This is an American reality show which allows people to show off their dance moves. The extremely talented dancers make our jaws drop with their dance moves. This is a dance competition where each contestant attempts to win a grand prize. The show has also had various celebrity judges including Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Laurieann Gibson for season 17.
8. Shark Tank India- Sony LIV

In this popular and excessively addictive business reality show, aspiring entrepreneurs pitch their business models and ideas to a panel of experienced investors. Here each of them tries to persuade the panel members to invest in their projects by answering their genuine queries. This show tends to inspire most of us to start our businesses as well. The second season started in January 2023.
