Raveena Tandon Reveals She Started In Bollywood By Cleaning Studios And Wiping Vomit Among Other Things
People usually believe that being a star kid means that you have no struggles and have an easier way to the top. Now, I am not completely denying this claim but there are some that have actually worked hard to get to the point where they are. One of them is actor Raveena Tandon who said that despite hailing from a filmy background, she interned with director Prahlad Kakkar and worked hard to work her way up the success ladder.
Raveena Tandon was recently praised for her performance in KGF: Chapter 2. She is now looking back at her journey as an actor and how far she has come. Raveena Tandon reflects back at her days as a beginner and says that she started out as an intern for Prahlad Kakkar despite being the daughter of filmmaker Ravi Tandon. Raveena said that she used to clean the studio and even wipe off the vomit from the bathroom stalls. She further said she assisted Kakkar straight out of grade 10.

Raveena further added that being an actor was not something she actively planned. Raveena says, “Even at that time they used to say what are you doing behind the screen, you have to be in front of the screen, that is what’s meant for you and I would be like ‘no no, me, an actress? Never.’ So I am in this industry actually by default, never grew up thinking that I am going to be an actor.”

Raveena said that whenever some model wouldn’t show up, Kakkar would ask her to do her makeup and start posing. However, after a while, she decided to start making pocket money out of this instead of modelling for free for Kakkar. Raveena said that this led to film offers and despite having no training in acting, dialogue delivery and dancing, she learned along the way.
