Speculation about the couple getting married in 2026 has been doing the rounds on social media over the weeks, with fans closely tracking every update connected to the two stars. Rashmika Mandanna On Wedding Plans With Vijay Deverakonda
Recently, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Rashmika was asked about the rumours surrounding her wedding. But instead of confirming or denying reports, the actor remained true to her stance of keeping her personal life private. ”I wouldn’t like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it’s to be spoken about, we shall,” Rashmika said. Her short but cautious response has only managed to fuel further curiosity about her relationship status.
The timing of her statement becomes significant as reports recently suggested that wedding preparations may have already begun. According to a source quoted by Hindustan Times last month, Rashmika Mandanna had even travelled to Udaipur to do a recce to look for possible wedding venues. The source said the possible ceremony would be a grand affair, hinting at an elaborate celebration planned for early next year.
Rashmika and Vijay reportedly got engaged in a private ceremony in Hyderabad in October this year. Neither of them announced it publicly, nor did they post any pictures, but Vijay Deverakonda’s team reportedly confirmed the news of their engagement and said the wedding was planned for February 2026.
Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have worked together in films as well. The duo starred in the hit films Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), following which reports about their dating relationship began circulating.

This year, in August, the two were spotted at the 43rd India Day Parade in New York and later attended the Bharat Beyond Borders event together. The actors had revealed in interviews earlier that they were not single but did not name their partners.
