Talking about the same, the actor will reportedly star in an adaptation of the novel series The Shiva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi. This includes The Immortals of Meluha novel and more. Ranveer Singh Will Reportedly Star In The Shiva Trilogy

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh’s production company, Maa Kasam Film, has acquired the rights to The Immortals of Meluha. The actor has partnered with Birla Studios to work on this trilogy. A source told the publication that Ranveer has been passionate about bringing Meluha to the big screen for a long time now. They stated that the acquisition of it happened recently, and the project is now officially under development. The insider stated that makers are looking at the franchise as a long-term cinematic universe, and the plan is to tell the story over 3 films. Further, it was shared that the writing work has already started, and the team is taking its time to develop the screenplay and world-building. The source added that the first part will go on floors in 2028.

Who Will Direct The Immortals of Meluha?

The source shared that the director for the project will be chosen only after the script reaches a certain stage. Currently, the makers are focused on developing the material. Other details have been kept under wraps as of now. For the unversed, The Immortals of Meluha, which was published in 2010, was followed by the rest of the books under the Shiva trilogy titled The Secret Of The Nagas and The Oath Of The Vayuputras. The series centers around the rise of a warrior from the Himalayas in the ancient kingdom of Meluha. 

Additionally, it is also being said that Ranveer Singh will be starring in Pralay, which will be a zombie thriller. To be honest, it’s hard to contain our excitement and patience until we see the actor blow our minds again on the big screen!
