‘Ramayan’ Actress Dipika Chikhlia Trolled For Wearing Skirt. Is She Not Allowed To Live Her Life Just Because She Played A Goddess?

Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan was the first Hindu mythological show that people all across India loved watching. The roles of Ram, Sita and Hanuman played by Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia and Dara Singh respectively received so much love from the audience that people would touch their feet in real lives as well! The actors were idolised to such an extent that they were never expected to go wrong. Something similar has happened with actress Dipika Chikhlia recently. She had posted a couple of photos of her from her school reunion gathering and people have trolled her for something that was not wrong either!

Dipika Chikhlia Gets Trolled

In a now-deleted post, the 57-year-old actress was seen wearing a white shirt, tie and a denim skirt and was posing with her friends for the camera. It was an innocent get-together that she had attended with her friends but internet trolls have called her out for wearing such an outfit. In one of the pictures, she was also holding a glass that contained a red-coloured drink and internet users have assumed it to be wine and also have trolled her for drinking it.

People have literally commented that they have not liked this ‘avatar’ of hers and a particular Internet user has also addressed her as ‘maa’ from Ramayan and asked her what drink is she drinking. While another went on to comment that Dipika is not supposed to wear such clothes because she has been kept on a pedestal of a goddess and therefore it does not suit her.

It is really shocking how people of this generation also find it hard to believe that Dipika Chikhlia had played a role and that she is not a goddess in real life. Just because she played a role does that mean she is constantly supposed to dress keeping in mind her public perception? No, absolutely not.
